Free DR Congo is a revolutionary movement that started in 2017 as a grassroots movement with over 345 civil society organizations to stop Joseph Kabila from running for 3rd term after his two constitutional mandates. We are that revolutionary movement that said no to the illegal cell phone tax known as "RAM" and won the lawsuit, and the tax ended in March 2022 to the great satisfaction of the DR Congo people. Today we are members of the Congolese Alliance for the Re-foundation of the Nation, a platform of many political parties and civil society movements.
